Today was the first teaching day at the First Peoples
Hospital of Zunyi. It is a 2000 bed
hospital and looks fairly new. We saw
about 30 patients and did it with the surgeons and orthodontist from the team
at the hospital. As each patient was
seen, a plan whether surgical or non-surgical was made after discussion with
the local professionals. Over the next 3
days a total of 8 patients will be operated on so there should be plenty of
time for teaching.
